RatingI am so excited I found this doctor. The staff and everyone was on board with my Care. I explained to them about my experience with my previous dentist and I am so happy that they are honest and they get the job done. They actually care about you and not just want your money. They want you to be happy with your smile and they want you to be happy With taking care of your teeth.
This place is Wonderful. They genuinely care about you and care about what you are going through. Seriously the best dentist in oc. And MEDICAL! accepted. Wonderful experience and I'm picky, lol. In very experienced hands.
Dr. Steven Nguyen is not only highly skilled but also genuinely caring and attentive. The hygienists and assistants are just as wonderful and efficient. Their attention to detail and gentle approach make my appointments a positive experience. The office is always spotless!Another thing I noticed is that there are a few dental offices around the same area, but this dental office is the one I was definitely looking for. It’s rare to find a dental team that makes me actually look forward to going to the dentist. I highly recommend Dr. Steven Nguyen and his team HB Smile Dental.
Trina, Dr Steven, and Dr Lee are very caring and attentive. It's hard to find a quality dentists who accepts Medi-Cal, but HB Smile Dental not only accepts Medi-Cal, they perform high quality work. I had a great experience here at HB smile dental. Steven did a great job cleaning my teeth. They also made a recommendation about my underbite and why I should get it fixed as soon as possible. They really made me feel like they cared about the well being of my dental health and were very knowledgeable. Would recommend this dental practice to anyone!
I’ve had the worst experience with my past dentist and I was terrified to step into any clinic but this place really changed nothing hurt everyone was extremely nice and patient with me I would 100% recommend I love this place and really changed my mind about dentist
Came back for my root canal and I left very happy! They were very gentle and care taking of the whole situation I told them honestly how scared I was and they made me feel really comfortable the entire time. I would recommend them to anyone who is afraid or anything. But remember to floss everyday! Thank you guys! 🙂

Amazing service with professional people. When I walked in I felt like this was a local place where everybody goes to. The dentist and the dental assistant did a xray and cleaning with me and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I recommend to anyone in the area to go here.

I'm so thankful for Dr Steven and his caring staff for the best dental treatment. . I have gone to few other dentists in my lifetime but Dr Steven has magic hand. HB Smile Dental is wonderful!! The staff and doctors were very helpful and know exactly how to help my husband. They were able to take him in short notice and got him the help he needed. Doctor Nguyen’s office is amazing!! They really make it happen. Doctor Nguyen went above and beyond to get my work done. He was Very knowledgeable and experienced. And took great care to put me at ease and explain the necessary work and the process of what it takes to get it done and the root canals and crowns went on without a hitch! My teeth were taken care of in a kind and caring manner, and that is valued above all else. Trina in the office is awesome as well! She took great care to make sure the work got scheduled in a timely manner and made sure to remind me of my upcoming appointments, and even took personal time to get prescriptions into the pharmacy that were needed. A++ 10/10 experience!! I’m not going anywhere else for dental work, no need to when they clearly have the best working in their office! THANK YOU 🙏
I did my initial cleaning and he was great. He scheduled a deep cleaning because I had a lot of built up. The whole time he taught me how to take better care of my teeth. I’m really grateful and had a great experience!

Wow what a refreshing and wonderful experience I've had as a new patient here recently. They take Medi-CAL which is sometimes difficult to find a dentist that does and from my very first visit they were kind and attentive and got me approved for essential work that other dentists could not. And I was scheduled with an oral surgeon quickly to alleviate some pain I was in and complete some work a previous dentist did poorly. The whole staff at HB Smile was very helpful and caring and Dr. Stephen Nguyen is now my go-to permanent dentist. Best dentistry office I've ever been to, best in the OC and quite possibly the world!

My experience at HB Smile has been by far the best experience I've had. I've been to many dentists and this is the first place I've felt cared for, genuinely cared for! They are very kind, very organized, and very proficient at doing their jobs! They don't stop there though, they educated me on everything I asked about. They did not get irritated what so ever with my questions and by the time I was walking out of there, they had made me feel like a very important person! We need more dentist offices like this one! I have had Dr Steven J. Nguyen as my dentist for just over 1yr. He and his staff have provided excellent, professional & caring dental work for my self as well as my son and daughter. I've had my remaining teeth extracted and now have a complete set of both upper & lower dentures, which look beautiful.
